9/28/07 Proudly Sponsered by Coors Light
Greetings everyone!
I hope all of you have had a great summer and I am sure many of you are getting back to work or the grind of the school semester.
This fall is going to be one of the books as usual. Many different areas and places to play as usual and I am actually taking a little bit of time off for myself so that I can relax a little bit. I pulled off almost a hundred shows over the summer so I am going to take Sunday's off for a little while to recover from the insanity.
Make sure you check the OurAfter myspace page at www.myspace.com/ourafter and my own myspace page at www.myspace.com/johnguidophillips for updated pictures and events and such!

Big thanks to Coors Light for all of their support and being my newest sponsor! Make sure you grab a Coors Light in your travels, if you are legal enough that is!
If you wish to contact me at any point, shoot me an e-mail. I always love meeting new friends and fans along the way.

August Updates
Hello boys and girls,
I hope all of you had a great summer and hopefully you made
it to the beach at least once. Sine we are approaching the
fall season it is time to give you some updates on what is
going on around these parts of the musical realm.
To all Bloom students this year that plan on coming out this
year:
Russel's has decided to stop their entertainment on Wednesday
nights (Wing Night) and are moving their entertainment to
Tuesdays instead. Because of conflicts with their schedule
and mine, I will only be appearing once a month at Russel's
on Tuesdays I am sorry to say. However, I will be doing many
other shows in Bloom this year. You can come out to the Quaker
Steak and Lube where I will be doing shows, Harry's Bar and
Grille, and even a special event at Bloomsburg University
in October! If you have any questions about this, feel free
to e-mail me.
To all OurAfter fans:
OurAfter will be doing a variety of shows this year between
Scranton, Philadelphia, NYC, and many other areas. There are
two huge shows for you to come out and see this fall.
The first one is September 3rd at Tinks Entertainment Complex
in Scranton, PA. This is an all day event running from 2 P.M.
to 2 A.M. featuring some of the biggest bands around the N.E.P.A.
region. Some of these acts are:
The Let Go, Jugdish, The Five Percent, Morning Pride, Nowhere
Slow, New Past Life, Panacea, Lessen One, Owen's Grudge, OurAfter,
Spitcan, Zac Lawless, and Jimmy Mancus.
This is a show not to be missed! If you are not doing anything
Labor Day Sunday, get to this show. It will be huge.
There will also be a special trip out to NYC at Kenny's Castaways
Saturday October 7th. OurAfter, Lessen One, and Owen's Grudge
will all be performing this night between 8 P.M. and 11 P.M.
If you are interested in going on this bus trip, cost is $30
and you must let me know immediately because seats are filling
up quick. I will give everyone details when they contact me.
Once again, either contact me by phone (570-878-3320) or by
e-mail.
There are many new rooms and many cool events coming up so
stay tuned. I finally have new pictures to post along with
schedule dates which is updated to mid-September right now.
I look forward to hearing from all of you and stay in touch!

Upcoming Summer Schedule
Hello everyone. I hope that you are
all doing well and that the summer is shaping up to be a good
time of the year for you. I would strongly like to urge many
of you to help out flood victims from across the area. Many
people lost their homes, belongings, and even family members.
You can donate to Red Cross, Salvation Army, or even donate
right to the city or town if you can.
The next two months have many intersting things going on show
wise. My band "OurAfter" will be playing at the
Continental in NYC, NY. on July 7th and at Nightcaps in Edwardsville,
PA. on July 8th. I hope to see some of you out at one of these
shows! If you did not know yet, the new OurAfter CD "Perfect
Day" is now available in all Gallery of Sound locations.
Click
here if you would like to purchase the new CD.
There are many new rooms I will be playing within the next
couple of months. I will also be returning to the Bloomsburg
area this month to play so get ready people. If you would
like to ask any questions, or have any ideas as to where I
should play, shoot me an e-mail through the website!
Thanks everyone and new pictures coming up this week!

Cold Weather Should Stay in Canada!
March rolled in like lion and
pretty much stayed here to make us all freeze ourselves into
hibernation. The last couple of months have been filled with
events such as Parade Day in Scranton, St. Patrick’s
Day, and many days of just drinking and debauchery. This month
needless to say has been the month of the Irish. So let’s
do a recap on some of the places played in the last couple
of weeks.
Senunas: The
first time I played at this establishment was an absolute
blast. Dave and the rest of the staff are great people and
this is definitely a hot college bar in the Wilkes-Barre area.
Thanks to Carlee, Batchick, Jane, Karen, and Kara for making
a special appearance that night. It was nice to see all of
you. I’ll be back in a couple of weeks!
Russel’s:
This has become the best spot on my roster of shows to play.
Bloomsburg alumni, locals, and currents students know how
to party and area always very warm and receptive. Bryan Banks
from Owens Grudge (www.owensgrudge.com)
has been performing with me down at Russel’s and everyone
welcomed him with open arms. Thanks to Bailey, Justin, Michelle,
Mark, Justin Number 2, AST, Delta Pi, Tri Sig, and Chuck Norris
for making our nights a great time down there.
The Tally-Ho:
Every once in awhile I get the opportunity to team
up with my former band mate Jason Hoffman (www.iamnotgood.com)
and play out. The Tally-Ho (www.thetallyho.com)
is our stomping ground in the Allentown/Bethlehem area together.
This is a great college bar and Ken and the staff are good
people. This is the place to be if you know people from Lehigh
University. If you get a chance if you are in the area, check
us out at this establishment!
The Green Frog:
The every Sunday spot in Scranton has gotten huge!! This is
the night to go out in the Scranton area on an off night and
the Frog gets packed! Thanks to everyone that has been coming
out and I appreciate all of your support. Ribbit……
Finn McCool’s:
I am going to be doing a lot of Thursday shows at this
room in Scranton. Mike, Sheila, and the rest of the staff
are an absolute blast and Wiggy is the man for helping me
get my foot in the door here. Make sure you check out www.jugdish.net.
This week in the EC/DC (www.diamondcityweekly.com)
I was fortunate enough to have a review written on me by Dave
Thackara. It was a good honest interview and I was very surprised
to see it since I had no clue at all that it was even happening.
Thanks once again to Gene, Dave, and the EC/DC.
I have a lot of great new rooms coming
up between the Poconos, Scranton, and Bloomsburg area. Feel
free to drop a line on the guestbook
and I hope to see all of you out soon! Leave your e-mail address
(on the homepage) so I can sign you up for the upcoming weekly
updates

Hello Boys and Girls!
I haven’t been able to sit down and right a recap on the last
couple of weeks so I apologize. My schedule has been ridiculous
and out of control to say the least. So let’s do some catching
up!
First off, to anyone who bet on the Seahawks, HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Congrats to Pittsburgh and their fans for a great season!
That night at the Green Frog was filled full of people who
proved that their dicks are still the same size as any other
given night, even when Pittsburgh wins the Superbowl.
What can I say about Valentines Day? I am sure all of you
either drank your face off, or wound up spending the night
in bed, not sleeping! Heil’s was insane that night! Thanks
to everyone that came out.
Russell’s in Bloomsburg is always a great time! Thanks once
again to everyone that is coming out this year. Bryan Banks
graced us with his presence two weeks ago and did a great
job. You can check out his band at www.owensgrudge.com.
This week is full to the brim worth of shows. If anyone can
get me some aderol to keep me awake, I would appreciate it.
HAHA!
Here are the shout outs for the week! Thanks to Annie, Lori
and Lisa B, J.C. from Lessen One (www.lessenone.com),
D.J. Scrat, Delta Pi, AST, ASA, Tri Sig, Everyone at the Glass
Onion, Drunken Amy and her crew, Bouncer Billy, T.J., EC/DC,
Donnie, Chris Hludzik, Wiggy, Tom Bonomo (www.eyedesignstudios.com),
and many many more!
The official CD release show of OurAfter is May 28th at Tinks
Entertainment Complex. This will be an all ages show! Opening
acts include Owens Grudge, New Past Life, and the X’s. More
information to come.

Recap of the Week
Hello Everyone!
This past week has definitely been the most out of control
week of playing that I can remember! Sunday
at the Green Frog was ridiculously
crowded. You literally couldn't take a step without stepping
over bodies. I am sure that Mr. MLK would have been proud
of all of you for coming out and having a great time. Special
props go out to J.C. from Lessen One, Taryn for her comedy
stories, D.J. Scrat, Lori and Donnie for their impression
of a late night hotel room, Billy and his boys, and Lindsey
for the diving parachute bomber.
Tuesday at Heils caught
us in the middle of ice storm, which did dampen the crowd
a little. However, for some reason, chaos must persist! Zhenon
made a special appearance, along with Billy who knows how
to literally "Bring it home"! If you have never
seen a Tuesday night at Heils, you do not know what you are
missing.
Wednesday marked the return of the Bloomsburg University students
and you guys do not disappoint at all! Thank you for the warm
welcome back to Russels
and for literally being the out of control drinkers that you
are. Special props go out to Bryan Scott for his set, Bailey,
The Delta Pi brothers, AST, ASA, Kai Theta Pi, and the Tri
Sig sisters!
Friday Night at the Stadium
Club has turned from a relaxed
environment to now a party stop from 5 to 8 on Friday nights!
There were a numerous amount of people from the Southland,
and they knew how to drink Bud Light!!
Tonight is the first night for me in the
Wetlands at Tinks Entertainment Complex
in Scranton, Pa. I am sure it will be a great night and hopefully
I will see a lot of the familiar faces out tonight.
This week my original band "OurAfter" goes back
into the studio to finish the final touches on the upcoming
cd. Look for the release in March of this year. You can check
out some of the songs at www.ourafter.com.
Photos are being taken at every show so watch for them on
the website. Amy was great enough to update the site's photo
and schedule section.
I will be in many new markets in the upcoming months hitting
a wide variety of regions and states! Have a great week.

1/12/06 Electric
City/Diamond City Up Close and Personal Interview
This week I will be featured in the Electric City/Diamond
City for an Up Close and Personal interview. This magazine
is distributed throughout the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Pa. area.
I would like to thank Bud Light for their recent support in
all they have done with advertisement and all of the extra
merchandise they have been throwing my way.
I am going to taking pictures at every show from now on and
posting them on this page. If you do not want to be on the
net, do not pose for the camera. I am giving you all fair
warning now! :-)
I will be passing around e-mail sign up
sheets at shows along with song request sheets. I would love
to know all of your feedback and also what you would love
to hear! I will keep you all posted on the upcoming original
band "OurAfter" as well.
I will be going into a lot of new clubs in the next couple
of months. Look for me in these new clubs in Wilkes-Barre,
Allentown, Stroudsburg, and the Scranton area!
I hope all of you had a great holiday season and that you
will all stand by your resolutions!!
